It was 40 years ago today; April 4, 1968, at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, that a bullet ended the life of Dr. Martin Luther King. Four decades have passed since his untimely death but his legacy lives on!King said "I have a dream". Foxy wants to know what you think about the progress that has been made over the last 40 years. Has King's dream been realized?
There is a very good chance that we may end up with an African-American President in The White House; that is certainly progress.
What else do you think we have accomplished since King's death to keep his dream alive?

I feel that we have made a lot of progress, but it is still not enough. Martin Luther KIng's dream was a wonderful way of thinking of how the world could be, but I feel that we still have a long way to go. I hope that Mr. Obama can get the Democratic nomination and win the election. The media and the strong conservatives are going to make it hard for any black man or woman make it.
